A Chinese miniature earthenware jar of globular form with short neck and four applied lug ornaments, decorated in flowing amber, green, cream, and manganese lead glazes in the sancai tradition. The jar is accompanied by its matching glazed ceramic tripod stand, both displaying complementary glaze decoration and hand-crafted construction. The form recalls miniature sancai vessels produced during the Tang period as well as later Chinese works inspired by those celebrated wares.
